WALKING WITHIN THE FRAME

Walking within the frame is a senso-digital walking performance which the audience experiences independently in nature through a site-specific, unique performance application and phone. The phone acts as the guide, companion, and performer. The piece explores freedom, ownership, and home. It plays with the notion of conquest, proposing various human-nature-technology oppositions and power dynamics.
The piece is a Nordic collaborative project began in 2018, focusing on climate, the body, and nature within a technological framework.
Artistic directors are Maria Oiva and Kristina Junttila (Ferske Scener, Tromsø, NO).
