Telluskatu 7 – A Transformation Ritual was a performative, site-sensitive intervention set in an empty apartment building awaiting renovation in Peltosaari – known locally as “the most famous building in Riihimäki.” The house, marked by a dark and complex history, stood silent before its renewal.

This 15-minute event was a ritual of change – a farewell to what was, and a collective dancing-in of what could be. Participants danced to their favorite music, each in their own window, creating a quiet disco across the façade of the building.

The audience was invited via Tinder – a social network built on random encounters. The dance ritual was filmed from above by drone and streamed live on Facebook.
